“I hate dry cleaning”. Well so do we. We also low-key hate doing laundry. How do we avoid both? One word: 𝗪𝗼𝗼𝗹.
Did you know that we use 100% wool in almost all of our SEWTs? Wool is a natural fibre that is naturally moisture wicking, durable, wrinkle resistant, and smell resistant. It’s also breathable (myth: all wools are “hot and itchy”, but that’s for another day) and can be recycled. With all these amazing properties, you’d think wool is high-maintenance, but it’s really quite the opposite.
The best way to care for your SEWT is just to hang your garments to air-out before wearing or lightly steam, and store in a garment bag when not in use for prolonged periods of time! Most soiling will come out with a light steam (yes, even that offensive sweat smell)! Dry cleaning is very aggressive on garments and should actually ONLY be used when a garment is heavily soiled. Which means that for most of us, you can probably get away with dry cleaning your SEWT once or twice a year.

𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗿𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴? Great for the environment and your wallet.
𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗳𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗰? You’re wearing a garment for years to come, and less likely to end up in a landfill.
